Self diagnosis

Last week Annabelle started crying with side pain. After talking with a nurse we put a hot pack on it until it was better. Why talk to a professional when Annabelle figured it out on her own? "Mom I ate too many cheerios and it braked my bones"

PS I found out that my friend's 2 yr old calls her coat hood a neighborhood So cute.

I've never thought of that before

Annabelle and I were watching Phantom of the Opera today. I think she likes the music more than anything.:) Anyhow, during the movie she asked "Mom, where's the Phantom's bathroom?" I said "huh"? She asked again "Does the phantom have a bathroom?" I replied "probably in his dungeon". She then said "yeah he has one, that's where he puts on his mask". Good to know.

Snow days

I love that snow days make us(me) slow down. I get a few things done that I am too hurried to do normally. (one day I WILL finish painting the guest room) However, snow makes the kid bored with only seeing what kind of reactions she can get from her parents doing various unproductive things. We watched The first two LOTR yesterday and are watching the 3rd tonight. We have played in the snow and might try to make the snow cream tonight after pizza.

For my exercise today I walked down the road to warehouse market to pick up a few essentials- coffee, trash bags, Whipping cream , butterfinger and heathbar bits to make snow cream sundaes with.;) oh and brown boots. I love my big red backpack.
Chillin.
Smoothie gets to come inside which is good and bad for him. He does love to snuggle. :)

I won third place in the ugly sweater contest even thought I didn't follow the rules. Seriously, how do you expect me to pass up a dress like this?
We also got a USED Dora toilet seat as a white elephant gift. Annabelle was way too excited adn uses it now.

Wow April.

Someone very dear to me said she would follow my blog if I actually used it. After all this time I don't know what to start with. Nothing now cuz the kid just woke up. later.

Ducks'n cheese

We went to feed teh ducks but they weren't hungry. So we ate bread and after being in the cold headed to Chucky Cheese.
